Hair Care

Hello everyone!

One of my New Year's resolutions is to take more care of my hair. Last year my hair has been damaged for quite a while, but it's much healthier now. Today I'm going to tell you what I do to keep my hair healthy.

1) I use a conditioner twice a week. At the moment  I'm using the L'Oréal Paris: 'Elseve Anti-Casse' also know as 'Elvive Anti-Breakage' in English.(actually, this one is empty now. I'm starting a different conditioner tomorrow.) It smells delicious and it makes my hair feel so soft. It also makes brushing my hair much easier.
2) I try to not brush my hair too often and when I brush it, I try to do it gently. The same when I dry my hair with a towel, I try to do it gently.
3) I stopped using heath. I don't use blow dryers, straighteners and curling irons anymore. I think you all already know how damaging heath is.

3) At the moment I use three shampoos: Garnier 'Fructis Fresh', Dove 'Daily Moisture' and Garnier 'Ultra Doux Vanilla Milk and Papaya Pulp'.
Every time I wash my hair I use an other one than the last time. My hair dresser told me it's so much better for your hair.
4) Every few weeks I apply some coconut oil to my hair. I do this one or two hours before I shower. It's really one of the best things for your hair. (And also for dry skin!) 
6) I wash my hair 3 or 4 times a week. I know that's quite a lot, but I used to wash it every day so it's a bit better now. I've once heard that it's better to wash your hair with cold or lukewarm water instead of hot water. I'm not sure if this is actually true, but I try to do it anyway (although I still wash it with hot water some days, when I'm really not in the mood for cold water and shivers.)
7) I don't wear my hair in a ponytail as often as I used to. The hair elastic can be damaging.

I hope I've given you some inspiration on how to treat your hair with more care.
